Ineptocracy (in-ept-o-cra-cy)- a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
A few years ago I became fed up with paying way too much for capped mobile phone and data plans and moved to a provider that offered basically pay as you go mobile phone and data service.
Unfortunately that provider ceased offering international roaming with that service and to be honest the $300.00 pre paid deposit required to enable international roaming when it was offered was a little prohibitive.

When was the last time there was an airline strike that really inconvenienced you as a traveller?
1989 under the Labor Government led by Bob Hawke in Australia was the first real experience of gross inconvenience for many Australian travelers.
Stop Gillards Carbon Tax
It was reported by the Sydney Morning Herald on August 17 2010 that Gillard said "said there will be no tax on carbon while she leads the federal government." The same report quotes the Deputy Prime Minister, Wayne Swan, saying that that "if Labor won the election there would be no carbon tax during its three-year term."
No Carbon Tax we already have income tax, GST, Company Tax, Stamp duties for almost everything and there is even an airport tax if you want to just leave!
Are you able to trust government to keep you safe and to protect you?
Do you really support removing your right to defend yourself?
If you are personally attacked, are law enforcement right there on hand to protect or save you when you really need the assistance? Almost always police arrive much later to take your statements, if you are still alive, and view the aftermath.
Are these laws removing a level of deterrence which increases the risk of you being exposed to, or even a victim of many serious crimes?
Years ago an insurance broker set our business up with Employers Mutual for workers compensation insurance.
I personally found Employers Mutual to be one of the most frustrating and annoying organisations that I have ever been forced to pay my money to.
The correspondence from Employers Mutual was confusing and confrontational.
Phoning Employers Mutual was a real pain and used to leave me seeing red afterwards.
Paying Employers Mutual was extremely difficult and the payment options were limited and archaic.
Early December 2010 I noticed Woolworths promoting a Qantas Frequent Flyer Mastercard that would have replaced an existing Mastercard.
Applied online successfully and received a submission confirmation.
My credit file was accessed a couple of weeks later.
Waited a few more weeks and as there had been no contact from Woolworths I returned to the Woolworths Everyday Rewards website. There is no phone number to be found on the Woolworths Everyday Rewards website so Woolworths were emailed using the form on the Woolworths Everyday Rewards website .
Interesting to see the interest raised recently by website Vodafail.
A few years back I was working at a location where mobile phone reception was patchy with my Telstra service so I purchased an Optus and a Vodaphone pre-paid SIM to test their respective services.
If you happen to be using a mixed network of Windows and Linux PC'c you may have Samba and Winbind installed.
If so Rhythmbox music player may be crashing everytime it is started.
This was happening in Ubuntu 10.04.
One fix is to go to synaptic and remove the Winbind package or use sudo apt-get remove winbind in a terminal.
A fix that seems to work while leaving Winbind installed is to edit nsswitch.conf.
In a terminal type sudo gedit /etc/nsswitch.conf and find the line
