Accommodation for the one night in Adelaide was at Peppers Waymouth Hotel, 55 Waymouth St Adelaide, South Australia, 5000. This hotel was excellent, staff were friendly and welcoming, the room clean and spacious. Location is in close proximity to a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended accommodation for Adelaide City would choose to stay here again in the future.
For an overnight business trip Qantas QF739 was selected for the flight down to Adelaide. The equipment was a Boeing 737 Departing from Terminal 3 Gate 7 in Sydney and arriving in Adelaide at Terminal 1 Gate 22. Breakfast was served during the flight and there was a bacon and egg roll option or an egg and salad option, the latter was chosen and was fresh and tasty.
Arriving back into Sydney late on a long weekend Monday evening we realised our plan to catch a train home involved all stops and the train did not actually go all the way to our closest final station meaning we would have to supplement trains with taxi. Quickly checking expedia and then the hotel site direct we noticed Stamford Plaza had room only available for around $135.00, we have stayed at the Stamford Plaza previously and always found it to be good so we booked a room for the night.
Technically this was the first flight of an around the world trip spanning 5 countries and 12 flights although we had positioned into Perth from Sydney to commence.
We experienced 3 nights accommodation at Peppers Kings Square Hotel in Perth as the start of an around the world trip.
Recently had the opportunity to fly on a Qantas A330 in business from Sydney to Perth. Travelling in business provided access to the Qantas Domestic Business lounge in Sydney's T3.
Ages ago we decided to stop using ebay and PayPal and new 2019 policy reinforces our decision. It is entertaining observing many corporation's moving to offer Paypal payment method as the next best thing when there is no way in hell we would consider using PayPal. From our experience Paypal is more expensive for everyone involved and they complicate while adding additional cost to resolving any issues which may arise after a transaction has taken place.
Recently flew Qantas from Sydney to Brisbane on QF 528 and back to Sydney on QF 549. Both aircraft servicing these flights were newer Boeing 737 with the aircraft on the return leg configured internally with the "sky interior".
We arrived at the terminal with not much time to spare due to slow traffic travelling in from home on a raining Friday and we briefly visited the Qantas frequent flyer lounge in Sydney using our status as we were flying economy.
Our return flight on Qantas QF756 commenced enjoying time with our traveling partners in the excellent Qantas lounge in Adelaide Airport. This lounge has plenty of room and is new and well appointed and each time we have visited this lounge has been good.
QF 756 is a Boeing 737 and we were all flying economy for this short flight, usually less than 2 hours in the air.
The last night of our trip across the Nullarbor and back before returning to Sydney we again stayed at the Atura Adelaide Airport. Our stay here at the start of our trip was great and this stay was also good. We had dinner in the Atura restaurant with two other family members who are living in Adelaide and although expensive for a hotel meal the evening was pleasant.
