Return flight from an overnight business trip to Adelaide was on Qantas QF756 a Boeing 737 departing Adelaide Airport at 1420 from Terminal 1 gate 22 arriving in Sydney Terminal 3 Gate 4 at 1648. As with the flight down to Adelaide there was luckily only 2 persons seated in the row of 3 leaving the dreaded middle seat free!
For an overnight business trip Qantas QF739 was selected for the flight down to Adelaide. The equipment was a Boeing 737 Departing from Terminal 3 Gate 7 in Sydney and arriving in Adelaide at Terminal 1 Gate 22. Breakfast was served during the flight and there was a bacon and egg roll option or an egg and salad option, the latter was chosen and was fresh and tasty.
Technically this was the first flight of an around the world trip spanning 5 countries and 12 flights although we had positioned into Perth from Sydney to commence. As we had plenty of time we caught bus 40 from Perth CBD to Perth airport and after checking in headed to the Qantas domestic Business Lounge in terminal 3/4.
Recently had the opportunity to fly on a Qantas A330 in business from Sydney to Perth. Travelling in business provided access to the Qantas Domestic Business lounge in Sydney's T3.
Recently flew Qantas from Sydney to Brisbane on QF 528 and back to Sydney on QF 549. Both aircraft servicing these flights were newer Boeing 737 with the aircraft on the return leg configured internally with the "sky interior".
We arrived at the terminal with not much time to spare due to slow traffic traveling in from home on a raining Friday and we briefly visited the Qantas frequent flyer lounge in Sydney using our status as we were flying economy.
Our return flight on Qantas QF756 commenced enjoying time with our traveling partners in the excellent Qantas lounge in Adelaide Airport. This lounge has plenty of room and is new and well appointed and each time we have visited this lounge has been good.
QF 756 is a Boeing 737 and we were all flying economy for this short flight, usually less than 2 hours in the air.
We recently flew down to Adelaide in South Australia from Sydney on a Qantas 737 flight number 783. We were flying economy with 2 others and using our Oneworld status we were all able to visit the Qantas Frequent flyer Lounge in Sydney T3 terminal. Qantas Boeing 737 economy seating is 3 abreast so three of us seated together and one other seated across the aisle.
Our return flight from Honolulu to Sydney was on a Qantas 747 and we had seats on the upper deck again. This is a daytime flight leaving Honolulu in the morning and arriving in Sydney the following afternoon. The aircraft next to ours at the gate in Honolulu was a Korean 747-800 a model which is not a common sight!
Inflight service was great all we had to do on arrival back in Sydney was make it to our hotel and sleep!
When Qantas scheduled Boeing 747 on this route replacing the Airbus 330 service they offered some great fares and we brought return tickets in business for a good price. We were able to secure seating upstairs again for both flights.
Qantas QF 140 Auckland to Sydney was and early flight departing around 7:00AM local time. This aircraft was also an A330 with the great business class cabin. The Qantas lounge in Auckland is nowhere as good as the Emirates lounge but the Emirates lounge is not open at this time of day. Inflight service was great.
