Qantas QF26 Tokyo Haneda - Sydney

Return flight to Australia on this round the world trip was on a Qantas B747-400 seated on the upper deck in row 14 where legroom is unrivaled! We had another flight booked on a Qantas 747 once again flying upstairs later in 2020 but unfortunately due to Covid this next 747 flight was cancelled and QF26 turned out to be our last flight on a Qantas 747-400.

Qantas QF17 Sydney to Los Angeles

When initially booking Qantas flight QF17 SYD-LAX as a segment of multiple flights the operating aircraft A380 seating configuration was the same original layout configuration in place since Qantas first started flying A380 Airbus. Qantas started upgrading business class seating to "The Business" style as is now installed in all Qantas A330 and all B787 aircraft midway through 2019.

Qantas QF756 Adelaide to Sydney

Return flight from an overnight business trip to Adelaide was on Qantas QF756 a Boeing 737 departing Adelaide Airport at 1420 from Terminal 1 gate 22 arriving in Sydney Terminal 3 Gate 4 at 1648. As with the flight down to Adelaide there was luckily only 2 persons seated in the row of 3 leaving the dreaded middle seat free!

QF739 Sydney to Adelaide

For an overnight business trip Qantas QF739 was selected for the flight down to Adelaide. The equipment was a Boeing 737 Departing from Terminal 3 Gate 7 in Sydney and arriving in Adelaide at Terminal 1 Gate 22. Breakfast was served during the flight and there was a bacon and egg roll option or an egg and salad option, the latter was chosen and was fresh and tasty.

Qantas Sydney to Brisbane return Sydney

Recently flew Qantas from Sydney to Brisbane on QF 528 and back to Sydney on QF 549. Both aircraft servicing these flights were newer Boeing 737 with the aircraft on the return leg configured internally with the "sky interior".

We arrived at the terminal with not much time to spare due to slow traffic travelling in from home on a raining Friday and we briefly visited the Qantas frequent flyer lounge in Sydney using our status as we were flying economy.

Qantas QF756

Our return flight on Qantas QF756 commenced enjoying time with our traveling partners in the excellent Qantas lounge in Adelaide Airport. This lounge has plenty of room and is new and well appointed and each time we have visited this lounge has been good.

QF 756 is a Boeing 737 and we were all flying economy for this short flight, usually less than 2 hours in the air.
