Back in Tokyo for the last few night of our stay in Japan this trip our accommodation was Granbell Hotel Shinjuku 2 Chome-14-5 Kabukicho, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0021, Japan which the hotel website refers to as a Boutique hotel like an urban hideout located 4 minutes' walk from Higashi Shinjuku station. From memory our room was called an Executive Mature Double which the hotel describes as "a classy flooring and a large glass shower and bath room gives you high quality space. The night view from relaxed bath tub provides you elegant calm time.

First stop this trip to Japan was Kyoto where we were booked at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier, Japan, 〒604-8001 Kyoto, Nakagyo Ward, 三条上る上大阪町５０９番地. Our room type was a Garden Twin Room.

Zurich Central Plaza Hotel Central 1, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland as accommodation over New Years was a great location and the room was great. Over looking the river with the central station across the bridge out front, a COOP store on the other side as well and the tram stops right out the front. Very close to many bars and a wide variety of dining options. One of the only weird things with housekeeping on the second morning the only coffee pods we left were decaffeinated pods and they gave more decaffeinated! Accommodation for the one night in Adelaide was at Peppers Waymouth Hotel, 55 Waymouth St Adelaide, South Australia, 5000. This hotel was excellent, staff  were friendly and welcoming, the room clean and spacious. Location is in close proximity to a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Highly recommended accommodation for Adelaide City would choose to stay here again in the future.

Arriving back into Sydney late on a long weekend Monday evening we realised our plan to catch a train home involved all stops and the train did not actually go all the way to our closest final station meaning we would have to supplement trains with taxi. Quickly checking expedia and then the hotel site direct we noticed Stamford Plaza had room only available for around $135.00, we have stayed at the Stamford Plaza previously and always found it to be good so we booked a room for the night.

We experienced 3 nights accommodation at Peppers Kings Square Hotel in Perth as the start of an around the world trip.

The last night of our trip across the Nullarbor and back before returning to Sydney we again stayed at the Atura Adelaide Airport. Our stay here at the start of our trip was great and this stay was also good. We had dinner in the Atura restaurant with two other family members who are living in Adelaide and although expensive for a hotel meal the evening was pleasant.

This was a great choice of accommodation which is a relief becuse if it had not been good we would have wished we stopped back at the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel Motel. The rooms here were newly renovated and clean although our traveling partners shower flooded their bathroom and the light in the bathroom intermittently switched off / stopped working.

Esperance Beachfront Resort 19 The Esplanade, Esperance WA 6450 was a great choice for our four night stay in Esperance Western Australia. Our one bedroom apartments with kitchen were great for self catering while it is only a short walk to hotels and restaurants in the town center and along the waterfront. we used the outdoor bbq several mornings for breakfast. Location is also great with the waterfront right across the street out front.

Prior to leaving we booked 2 rooms. We had inquired as to price and were quoted $140 per room and asked for 2 to be reserved. On arrival there were room options they had only one superior room @ the $140.00 and a standard room for $120.00. The person at the reception desk had absolutely no interest in our questions as to the differences so we took one of each.
